British company Burgtec, which is the leader in Mountain bike parts, has released their new offset shock Brush/Hardware. This new innovative hardware enables bikers to change their effective head tube angle by making adjustments in the rear shock mounts. The OE shock mounting hardware, which is currently being used by mountain bikers all over the world, is speculated to be replaced soon by the new technology offset brush/hardware. The main difference is that the offset shock Brush/Hardware, are drilled at an offset, in contrast with centre drilling in OE shock mounting hardware. This offset drilling effectively changes eye to eye length of the mountain bike's shock absorber. The whole geometry of the bike changes because of this, and mountain bike riders prefer to have their own adjustable geometry.
